Justin Hardy

Owner/CEO and General Contractor, Justin Hardy, was essentially born with a hammer in hand. From countless hours over carpets full of legos, framing childhood tree forts and spending summers helping with his family’s home addition, his youth was defined by his desire to create. Growing up next door to one of San Diego’s premier builders, a young Justin marveled at his neighbors' massive steel storage boxes and armory of powerful tools. Kindled by a youthful fascination, an enduring spark was lit when Justin was given an after school job sweeping sawdust on construction sites. Being exposed to the bones of a building, the impressive wooden, steel and concrete skeleton, was life changing for the adolescent. His eyes were opened to the layers of detailed work that goes into finishing a house. Nothing grew or just appeared; all homes were a great achievement, and Justin wanted to be a part of that process. 

A Journeyman carpenter who rose to the ranks of Supervisor at just 23 years old, Justin had the good fortune to learn the multifaceted skills of custom home building under the guidance and tutelage of many fine men. From Southern California to Northern California, he has led new construction projects abound with luxurious materials and has renovated homes using primarily reclaimed wood. Earning his General Contractor License, building is more than a business for Justin. He finds joy in fabricating beautiful spaces that others will fill with memories. A lover of both land and sea, Justin is a conscious steward of nature’s incredible gifts. To be able to work with his hands and manipulate natural materials, to navigate challenges and exert massive efforts, and then see those actions give way to a monument of accomplishments for others to enjoy -- building is Justin’s dream job.
